Can use polite and simple expressions to greet someone, say good bye, ask for something, thank someone,or apologize. Can greet or call out to people in everyday situations using polite language. Can also invite people, make proposals,or apologize. Can understand the differences between one s country s society and customs and those of Japan s, and use Japanese in a way that causes no problems. Can talk for a short period of time if one is prepared, though it may take some time. If it is about something one is familiar with,he/she can convey what he/she wants to say and have a short conversation, though he/she may hesitate or restate something while talking. Can talk for a longer period of time,though one may restate things to say things accurately.
