Sanno University Bulletin Vol. No. September A Study of Sports ticket pricing Jun Eguchi Sports ticket prices are assumed to be made according to the speculation of the strong points and the management strategies of the teams or the clubs. However, how are they actually made? This research is done by presuming that we are already familiar with the introduction to the research on sports ticket pricing in North America by Mugnusen et al. The aim of this research is to reveal the features of the Japanese standard on ticket pricing, using Mugnesens research as a framework. Mostly I discuss the present structural systems of Japanese ticket pricing. In Japan, there still exists a common belief that sports ticket prices should be made equally. It is, therefore, hard to accept a changing system. /
