Summary Change of Evaluation on Naturalized Warlord, Sayaka Bosup Lee Nakamura Eico, who was the manager of Jossoen History Compilation Committee of Jossoen Government General, discovered the existence of Sayaka (Choong Sun Kim) in the records such as Josseon Royalty Chronicles and Seungjungwon Diary. This paper has reviewed how Sayaka, who was a Japanese naturalized during wartimes, has been evaluated by the Japanese historians from the era of BunrokuKeicho-noeki, or in other words, Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592 to era of Japanese Imperialism, era of post-liberation, and today based on such records. First, the positive and the negative claims on Sayaka by Japanese historians were reviewed. Then, history of change of Sayaka from the authentication of Sayaka by Nakamura Eico to introduction of Sayaka in Japanese textbooks has been reviewed chronically.
