There are only three articles in the English language, these are: the, a, and an. These three articles are divided into two types: the definite article (the) which is used when the noun is specific and the indefinite articles (a, an) which are used when the noun is unidentified or not specific. ( 冠詞とは名詞の前につくもので the, a, an の 3 つがあります the は特定のものを表す 名詞につき a, an はそれ以外の単数名詞につきます ) Generic count nouns are nouns that represent a whole group;it is not specific. These nouns can be counted.
