MP=Model Production( 正式名称 : 東京学生英語劇連盟 ) 今年で創立 51 年目になります英語劇英語ミュージカルの公演を毎年 5 月に行います関東圏内さまざまな大学の学生が集まりますリハーサル公演すべての活動を英語で行います English Through Drama の理念に基づき活動を行います Model Production( 東京学生英語劇連盟以下 MP) は 1967 年ブロードウェイでの舞台経験をもつフルブライト交換教授故 Richard A. 5 3 Section 各セクションの説明 We are the supporters of MP17!! (MP17 を支える人たち ) Producer 制作代表 The Producer is the leader of MP17. He/She keeps track of everything that happens in MP, arranges and coordinates the organization to start the production. The Producer is also the leader of the Committee and helps MP members. MP17を立ち上げ運営の進行状況を把握し 2 月のキックオフに向けて様々な指示を運営メンバーにする舞台の演出など技術的指導は Director( 演出家 ) に委ねるが制作のリーダーはもちろんメンバーのサポート役も務める Stage Manager 舞台監督 The Stage Manager is the leader of the stage. He/She cooperates with the director, all the sections, and the committee to create our one and only stage. 舞台監督は舞台を作る中での中心人物すべてのセクション制作演出家と連携をとり一つの世界を作り出していくうえでそのバランスを取り舞台裏のリーダーとして様々な指示を出す Treasurer 会計 The Treasurer manages the budget which includes camp fee, stage managing costs, expenses to rent a rehearsal places and so on. MP の予算を管理する重要なポジションキャンプ費用舞台経営費稽古場費用など仕事の幅は広い Public Relations 渉外 The PR advertises MP. Its main jobs are to find sponsors, get audiences, and to attract new members. It is an important position that connects MP and the world. PR の仕事はずばり MP の宣伝スポンサー集めと来場者集客が主な仕事だ 2 月まではメンバー集めも中心になって進めるつまり MP とほかの人々をつなげる重要なパイプ役なのだ Art Designer 宣伝美術 The Art Designer is responsible for all the designing job within MP such as our original logo, flyers, tickets, T-shirts, and parka. He/She visualizes each years color. ロゴパンフレットチケット T シャツやパーカーなど MP における全てのデザインを手掛ける各年度のカラーをデザインの力で具現化していく役職 5

6 Assistant Director 演出補佐 The Assistant Directors support the director and the casts. (They help practice dancing and singing too.) ADs also communicate with other sections and the committee too. ディレクターや役者の橋渡しとなりサポートを行うまた他セクションや制作ともコミュニケーションを取り合って舞台づくりに関わる Section Chief セクションチーフ Section Chiefs are the leaders of Light, Sound, Setting&Property, and Make-up&Costume, Live Musician section. Each section chief communicates with the director and stage manager, and leads their section s members. セクションチーフは照明音響舞台美術衣装メイクアップライブミュージシャン各セクションのリーダーである演出家や舞台監督と連絡を取り合いメンバーを引っ張っていく去年は 50 周年公演でオリジナルの演目 Ghost Light を行いました Cast 6

MP17 の舞台に参加しよう! セクション紹介です Setting & Property 舞台美術 You may think that Setting & Property is a section for muscular men where you do heavy physical work, but actually, that s only one of our many jobs! This is a creative section that requires imagination to make designs, so girls are welcomed too!! Also set members sometimes appear in scenes during set change too! セットは一見男の重労働セクションなイメージがありますがそんなことありません! 想像力を駆使したデザインが欠かせないクリエイティブなセクションなので女子も大歓迎ですまた, セットチェンジで舞台上に登場することもあるとてもマルチなセクションです Lighting 照明 The job of lighting is not only turning the light on and off. We use many kinds of machines to use color, light, and shadow as a tool to express the cast s feelings. We also show the situation of each scene such as time, weather, and season with different effects. Lighting creates the story s atmosphere! 照明の仕事はただ照明をつけたり消したりすることだけではありませんたくさんの種類の機械を駆使して色光影を効果的に使いながらキャストの感情を表現しますまた時間天気季節などシーンの状況を視覚的に表したりもします舞台の雰囲気作りは照明のお手の物です! Sound 音響 Sound section operates audio equipment such as microphones, mixers and speakers to guide the audience to understand and feel the story better. We also operate in order to enable both musicians and casts to hear their music clearly. Why not change the world of stage with SOUND!!! 音響はマイクミキサースピーカー等を使い観客に舞台上の数奇を耳から感じてもらうというのが役割ですまた観客だけでなく舞台上に立つキャストやライブミュージシャンに音を双方に聞こえるように調整する仕事もしていますサウンドセクションに入って音で舞台の世界を変えてみませんか!!! Make up & Costume 舞台衣装舞台化粧 This section completes each character by making their costumes and designing their make-up and hairstyle. We share the image and ideas of each character, make costumes from the very start, and do make-ups and set hair on the performance day. We deliver our message through make-up and costume!! このセクションは役者に着せる服やメイクアップヘアスタイルによって舞台の登場人物を創り上げますキャラクターのイメージやアイディアを共有し一から衣装を作り公演当日にはメイクとヘアセ 7

ライブミュージシャンは本番役者と同じように舞台に立って全ての歌の演奏をします時には自分たちで編曲も行うことも歌の意味やキャラクターの気持ちを想像しそれを音楽で表現します Cast 役者 Casts are the characters in the play.

8 ットを担当します衣装やメイクを通してお客さんに私たちの舞台の世界観を伝えます! Live Musicians 演奏 Live Musicians will be on the stage on performance day, and play all the songs in the story. Sometimes we even arrange songs. Members will express the meanings of each song, imagine the characters feelings, atmosphere through music. ライブミュージシャンは本番役者と同じように舞台に立って全ての歌の演奏をします時には自分たちで編曲も行うことも歌の意味やキャラクターの気持ちを想像しそれを音楽で表現します Cast 役者 Casts are the characters in the play. We think deeply about our character and send the message of this play to the audience. Camp キャンプ We can improve own skill in this 3 days. And also, we will have 1 st RTh. RTh: Run Through 通し稽古 A rehearsal that is like the real performance, we will do the whole play. Hanami お花見 This is also one of fun events in MP. Let s enjoy with cherry blossom! Load in 仕込み & ゲネプロ Setting of each section.
