The goal of this course is to study the interrelations between society and the individual in regard to generic social processes. The topics covered include culture, socialization, gender, and social inequality. 授 業 のねらい/Goal 1) To introduce you to the fundamental concepts and perspectives of sociology. 2) To give you practical experience with sociological thinking (i.e., looking beyond the surface of what everybody knows ). 3) To assist you in becoming a more critical consumer of social information. 授 業 の 方 法 /Content 1.
