Abstract The purpose of this project is to improve the environment for learning mathematics at Future University Hakodate(FUN). From our past experience about mathematics in freshmen, we thought that there were many current freshmen who don t understand analysis in the mathematical subject and aren t able to understand lectures. This project tried to improve the environment for learning mathematics, especially analysis.at first, we thought about learning method of FUN students. The result of a survey to freshmen, they study analysis with textbook. But, it was revealed that they weren t able to understand their textbook. Also, many students weren t able to solve examinationquestions in spite of it included the same questions at the end of each chapter. We thought as follows.they can t make complex questions to unravel parts of mathematical units. And even if they were able to do this, weren t able to understand the contents of mathematical units.as the means to solve questions, we proposed and developed the learning support website that could confirm rudimentary mathematics knowledge with textbook. We designed a website combination study session which we held for freshmen. We held it for freshmen and assumed these learning support. Results of a survey of freshmen who took part in the study session, they responded it was helpful. This report describe the above.
