In recently years, the importance of knowledge workers is increasing. And some new concepts of knowledge worker s career are discussed. Boundaryless career, Protean career, Career self-reliance and so on. But, the actual conditions of Japanese knowledge worker s career have not been made clear. Based on interview researches, this paper shows the characteristics of careers self-reliance of business consultants.
