Shinko Terminal is the major district for international container trade (Pacific,East and South East Asia routes) and domestic ferries to Tokyo,Hanshin and Kagoshima and Cargo ship to Tokyo,Osaka,Hakata,Kagoshima and Island routes. The throughput of Shinko Terminal in 2010 was 7,085,479 tons (outbound : 2, 415,760 tons, inbound : 4,669,719 tons).
Urasoe Terminal is for liner and tramper general cargo and cementvessels. Five out of Eight berths are currently operational. The throughput of Urasoe Terminal in 2010 was 1,138,529 tons (outbound277,220 tonsinbound861,309 tons).
