These adverbs might be positioned at the beginning, at the middle, or at the end of the sentence. Examples of these adverbs include: often, never, sometimes, seldom, always, and ever. The key to avoid this, especially when using them in the middle of a sentence, is to know this general rule: Adverbs of frequency come before the main verb (except the verb to be ).
