3 ii Abstract Following on realization of ubiquitous computing environment, it is expected that various devices and services will be connected to the network in the near future. Moreover, Services frameworks which can connect lots of devices and services together to create new services are appearing. But Script-Based service configurations are extremely difficult and require much programming knowledge of users. On the other hand, existing Service Frameworks made by GUI have problems in making best use of GUI s interactivity. We will propose a service framework for coordinating distributed information appliances COBBLE PAD, which can led users to carry out interactively Service configuration by themselves with facilities of rich GUI. As the traditionnal GUI is complicate for user, In Cobble PAD, we propose interactive GUI to improve usability that will help user who are not good at computer to develop services by themselves and also set connedtion rules to let services developer to create new services independently.
