Conceived in 1979 by the European Commission (EC) with the support of Nippon Keidanren, ETP has welcomed to date approximately 1,000 business professionals to Japan. Among the participants who have successfully completed the programme, designed for promoting studies in Japanese language and business, are those who hold prominent leadership positions in European companies based in Japan. Alumni include distinguished business leaders such as Hans Tempel, President & CEO of Mercedes-Benz Japan, and Richard Thornley, Regional Director for Rolls-Royce International Ltd. in Japan. 本でビジネスを行うためのトレーニングを提供する人材育成プログラムです 1979 年に欧州委員会が日本経団連の協力を得て開始しこれまでに参加した研修員は現在まで延べ 1000 名に及びます日本語及び日本のビジネスを学ぶためのこのプログラムに参加した修了生の中には在日のヨーロッパ企業で指導的地位において活躍しているメルセデスベンツ日本社長のハンステンペル氏ロールスロイスインターナショナルリミテッド日本支社長のリチャードソーンリー氏らも名を連ねています ETP25 期よりプログラム内容が刷新され欧州委員会の委託を受けて現在４つの大学パリ政治学院大学フランスロンドン大学東洋アフリカ学院ボッコーニ大学イタリアが企画および実施を行っております計 12 ヶ月のプログラムは約３ヶ月間のヨーロッパプログラムと約９ヶ月間の日本プログラムで構成されヨーロッパプログラムでは日本語と日本のビジネス文化に関する基礎知識を学びます日本プログラムではまず早稲田大学にて約６ヶ月間にわたり実践的な日本語能力の向上を図るとともに日本の経済経営管理企業文化などを専門的に習得しますその後の約３ヶ月間でそれまでの期間で得た語学やビジネスの知識を生かしながら日本企業においてインターンシップを行います As of the 25th cycle of ETP, the overall programme planning and execution has been entrusted by the EC to a consortium comprised of 4 universities: Sciences Po (France), the School of Oriental and African Studies SOAS (London), SDA Bocconi (Italy) and Waseda University (Japan). The 12-month programme is composed of a 3-month Europe-based programme in which participants learn the fundamentals of Japanese language and business, and a 9-month Japan-based programme. During the Japan-based programme, participants spend 6 months at Waseda University to cultivate their practical Japanese language skills and acquire specialized knowledge in Japanese economy, business administration and corporate culture. Participants will spend the remaining 3 months conducting internships at Japanese companies utilizing the language and business knowledge that they have gained thus far. 今期 ETP26 期は 2007 年 11 月 19 日からヨーロッパでの研修を開始し 2008 年３月日本に来日しプログラムに参加致します The 26th cycle of ETP has commenced as of 19th November, 2007, in Europe.
