() Spring 06 ISSN TCSN h AricleィC Runoff hydrograph widhs represen he basin's reacion o rainfall. The purpose of his research is evaluaing mehods of SCS, Snyder and Clark in simulaion of flood hydrograph by using HECHMS model. For his purpose 0 rainfalls runoff evens were exraced from Tange Chogan and Booshigan hydromeric saions in he Shapoor River Basin. The model parameers were calibraed based on seven observed evens. Anoher hree evens were used for model verificaion.comparing he simulaion resuls showed ha he abiliy of differen mehods varies in differen basins. On he oher side a given mehod esimaes flood hydrograph characerisics wih differen accuracy. Therefore he purpose of simulaion should be considered in selecing of model. According o he evaluaion indices i can be concluded ha in oal he Clark mehod esimaed he peak flow, flood volume and ime o peak flow more accurae han he oher wo mehods. The mean relaive error values of he Clark mehod were calculaed 9.67,.3 and 4.3 percen for peak flow, flood volume, ime o peak flow respecively, in he Tange Chogan saion. The corresponding values for he Booshigan saion were 5.0, 5.97 and 6.89 percen.
