Les licences de Concurrents ne pourront en aucun cas être délivrées à des personnes n ayant pas atteint l âge de la majorité légale leur conférant entière capacité juridique. 3.2 APPLICATION La participation à toute Compétition inscrite au Calendrier Sportif International de la CIK-FIA nécessite de la part de tout Pilote qu il soit porteur d une Licence internationale de Pilote de Karting. 3.3 DEGRÉS DE LICENCES a. Les Licences Internationales de Karting sont délivrées par l ASN du demandeur. La date de naissance doit être mentionnée sur la Licence. Les degrés pour Pilotes sont établis comme suit : - DEGRÉ A : Championnats, Coupes et Trophées CIK-FIA du Groupe 1 & 2; Compétitions internationales du Groupe 1 & 2; - DEGRÉ B : Championnats, Coupes et Trophées CIK-FIA du Groupe 1 & 2; Compétitions internationales du Groupe 1 & 2; - DEGRÉ C : Championnats, Coupes et Trophées CIK-FIA du Groupe 1 & 2; Compétitions internationales du Groupe 1 & 2; Compétitions de Superkart non mentionnées ci-dessus. - DEGRÉ D : licence permettant aux personnes qui ne détiennent pas normalement de Licence de compétition de participer à certaines Compétitions de caractère spécifique, réservées à des karts de moins de 15 CV (type Formule Monde ou karts de location propulsés par des moteurs industriels), et dont les engagements sont internationaux. La Licence n est valable que pour des Compétitions internationales uniques, approuvées chacune par la CIK-FIA comme étant ouvertes aux détenteurs d une Licence de Degré D, et indiquées comme telles sur le Règlement Particulier de la Compétition. b. Les Pilotes titulaires d une Licence de Degré «B», ayant terminé parmi les 6 premiers d un Championnat, Coupe ou Trophée de la CIK-FIA du Groupe I auront l obligation de se voir délivrer une Licence de Degré «A» l année suivante. 3.4 QUALIFICATION DES PILOTES POUR LES DEGRÉS DE LICENCES Degré «D» La Licence de Degré «D» est délivrée par l ASN du demandeur et ne requiert aucune période probatoire de qualification. Le demandeur doit atteindre ses ans dans le courant de l année civile d émission de la Licence. 3.1 GENERAL The issuing of all international Karting Licences for Drivers is governed by the International Sporting Code (and in particular Articles 3.9, 9.1/9.17 & 20) and by Appendix L thereof. Entrants licences may not be delivered to persons who are still under age and do not have full legal capacity. 3.2 APPLICATION To participate in any Competition entered on the International Sporting Calendar of the CIK-FIA, a Driver must hold a Karting Driver s international Licence. 3.3 LICENCE GRADES a. International Karting Licence are issued by the applicant s ASN. The date of birth must be mentioned on the Licence. The grades for Drivers are established as follows : - GRADE A : CIK-FIA Group 1 & 2 Championships, Cups and Trophies; Group 1 & 2 international Competitions; - GRADE B: CIK-FIA Group 1 & 2 Championships, Cups and Trophies; Group 1 & 2 international Competitions; - GRADE C: CIK-FIA Group 1 & 2 Championships, Cups and Trophies; Group 1 & 2 international Competitions; Superkart Competitions not mentioned above. - GRADE D: this licence allows the participation of persons not normally holding competition Licences in certain special purpose Competitions reserved for karts of less than 15 HP (World Formula type or rental kart type powered by industrial engines), and in which there are international entries. The Licence is valid only for specific international Competitions. which must have been individually approved by the CIK-FIA as open to Grade D Licence holders, and indicated as such on the Supplementary Regulations of the Competition. b. Drivers holding a CIK-FIA Grade B Licence having been classified in the top 6 of a CIK-FIA Group I Championship, Cup or Trophy shall be issued with a Grade A Licence the following year. 3.4 DRIVERS QUALIFICATION FOR LICENCE GRADES Grade «D» The Grade «D» Licence is issued by the applicant s ASN and does not require a qualifying period of probation. 5 LICENCES INTERNATIONALES DE KARTING POUR PILOTES & CODE DE CONDUITE INTERNATIONAL KARTING LICENCES FOR DRIVERS & CODE OF DRIVING CONDUCT La Licence de Degré «D» est valable pour une seule Compétition, dont le nom et la date doivent être apposés sur la Licence par l ASN qui la délivre. Il doit être indiqué sur la Licence le statut du détenteur et s il lui est permis de conduire dans la Compétition. Il n existe pas de limite quant au nombre de fois que cette Licence peut être délivrée à un Pilote Degré «C» Un Pilote commence avec la Licence internationale de degré «C». a. Deux Trois Licences de degré «C» sont prévues : - la C-Junior, exclusivement réservée aux catégories de Juniors, pour les Pilotes d un âge compris entre 12 ans (atteignant leurs 12 ans dans le courant de l année civile) et 14 ans non révolus à la date d émission de la Licence. Afin de se qualifier, les demandeurs doivent : - d abord effectuer une période d essai avec une Licence nationale de Karting et il doit également être constaté qu ils participent de manière satisfaisante à au moins cinq courses de Karting reconnues par l ASN, et ce dans les deux ans précédant la demande (recommandation : la réussite d un test théorique et pratique effectué sur une piste de Karting avec un Kart Junior, approuvé par l ASN de tutelle) ; et - subir un examen d aptitude médicale réalisé par un médecin agréé par l ASN lors duquel la hauteur et le poids du Pilote doivent être enregistrés. De plus, le poids d un Pilote (équipement du Pilote compris) doit être d au moins 35 kg à tout moment lors d une compétition. La Licence pourra rester valide au-delà de la date du 14e anniversaire d un Pilote jusqu au terme de l année en cours. Dans des circonstances exceptionnelles, liées à la sécurité et évaluées par la CIK-FIA sur base d un dossier soutenu par l ASN du Pilote, une Licence C-Junior pourra être délivrée à un Pilote atteignant son 15e anniversaire au cours de l année de la délivrance de la Licence. Tout passage à la Licence C-Restricted dans le courant de l année sera définitif. - la C-Junior C-Restricted, exclusivement réservée aux catégories de Juniors Seniors (uniquement catégories sans boîte de vitesses), pour les Pilotes d un âge compris entre ans (atteignant leurs ans dans le courant de l année civile) et 15 ans non révolus à la date d émission de la Licence. Afin de se qualifier, les demandeurs doivent : - d abord effectuer une période d essai avec une licence internationale de Karting et il doit également être constaté qu ils participent de manière satisfaisante à au moins cinq courses de Karting reconnues par l ASN dans la catégorie Junior, et ce dans les deux ans précédant la demande (recommandation : la réussite d un test théorique et pratique effectué sur une piste de Karting avec un Kart Senior (catégorie sans boîte de vitesses), approuvé par l ASN de tutelle) ; et - subir un examen d aptitude médicale réalisé par un médecin agréé par l ASN lors duquel la hauteur et le poids du Pilote doivent être enregistrés. The Grade «D» Licence is valid for only one Competition, the name and date of which must be indicated by the issuing ASN on the Licence. The function of the holder and whether he is allowed to drive in the Competition must be specified on the Licence. There is no limit to the number of times this Licence may be issued to a Driver Grade «C» A Driver starts with the international grade «C» Licence. a. Two Three grade «C» Licences are provided for : - the C-Junior, exclusively reserved for Junior categories, for Drivers between 12 years old (reaching their 12th birthday during the calendar year) and under 14 years of age on the date when the Licence is issued. In order to qualify, applicants must: - first serve a period of probation with a national karting Licence and must also be observed to compete satisfactorily in at least 5 ASN-sanctioned karting races within the two years prior to application (recommendation: the successful completion of a theoretical and practical test conducted on a karting track with a Junior Kart, approved by the parent ASN); and - undergo a medical aptitude exam performed by an ASN-authorised doctor during which the height and weight of the Driver must be recorded. Additionally a Driver s weight (including the Driver s equipment) must be a minimum of 35 kg at all times during a competition. The Licence may remain valid beyond the date of a Driver s 14th birthday until the end of the current year. In exceptional circumstances linked to safety and which will be assessed by the CIK-FIA based on a dossier supported by the Driver s ASN, a C-Junior Licence may be issued to a Driver reaching his 15th birthday during the year in which his Licence is issued. Upgrading to a C-Restricted Licence during the year is final. - the C-Junior C-Restricted, exclusively reserved for Junior Senior categories (only non-gearbox categories), for Drivers between years old (reaching their 13th 14th birthday during the calendar year) and under 15 years of age on the date when the Licence is issued. In order to qualify, applicants must: - first serve a period of probation with an International Karting Licence and must also be observed to compete satisfactorily in at least 5 ASN-sanctioned karting races in the Junior category within the two years prior to application (recommendation: the successful completion of a theoretical and practical test conducted on a karting track with a Senior Kart (non-gearbox category), approved by the parent ASN); and - undergo a medical aptitude exam performed by an ASN-authorised doctor during which the height and weight of the Driver must be recorded. 214

LICENCES INTERNATIONALES DE KARTING POUR PILOTES & CODE DE CONDUITE INTERNATIONAL KARTING LICENCES FOR DRIVERS & CODE OF DRIVING CONDUCT Additionally a Driver s weight (including Driver s equipment) must be a minimum of 40 kg at all times during a competition. The licence may remain valid beyond the date of a Driver s 15 th birthday until the end of the current year. In exceptional circumstances linked to safety and which will be assessed by the CIK-FIA on the basis of a dossier supported by the Driver s ASN, a C-Junior Restricted Licence may be issued to a Driver reaching his 16th birthday during the year in which his licence is issued. Upgrading to a C-Senior Licence or to a «B» Licence during the year will be final. - la C-Senior pour les Pilotes qui atteindront l âge de 15 ans dans le courant de l année civile d émission de la Licence (18 ans révolus pour les Pilotes de Superkart). b. Pour obtenir le passage de la Licence de degré «C» à la Licence de degré «B», le Pilote demandeur doit : - atteindre ses 15 ans dans le courant de l année civile d émission de la Licence (18 ans révolus pour les Pilotes de Superkart). - avoir été classé parmi les 10 premiers dans au moins 3 Compétitions nationales et/ou internationales au cours des 24 mois précédant sa demande. Un résultat au minimum parmi ces 3 résultats doit avoir été obtenu dans une Compétition de Championnat national ou une Compétition internationale. b. La Licence de degré «B» est délivrée par l ASN du Pilote, à la demande de l intéressé Degré «A» a. Pour obtenir le passage de la Licence de degré «B» à la Licence de degré «A», le Pilote demandeur doit : - atteindre ses 15 ans dans le courant de l année civile d émission de la Licence (18 ans pour les Pilotes de Superkart); - doit avoir obtenu les résultats suivants dans des Championnats ou des Compétitions au cours des 24 mois précédant précédant sa demande : * soit être classé parmi les premiers 33% des participants à un Championnat, Trophée ou Coupe CIK-FIA se déroulant sur une seule Compétition (dans le cas où les premiers 33% recouvrent plus de Pilotes que les 34 finalistes d un Championnat, le reste de la sélection des candidats potentiels à la Licence de degré A se fondera sur le classement intermédiaire à l issue des Manches Qualificatives) ; * soit avoir marqué des points au classement final d un Championnat, Coupe ou Trophée CIK-FIA se déroulant sur plus d une Compétition ; * soit être classé parmi les premiers 33% des participants dans 3 Compétitions internationales, à la condition que ces résultats aient été obtenus avec une Licence internationale de degré «B». b. La Licence de degré A est délivrée par l ASN du Pilote, à la demande de l intéressé. - the C-Senior for Drivers reaching their 15th birthday during the calendar year in which the Licence is issued (over 18 years old for Superkart Drivers). b. «C» Licences are issued by the Driver s ASN, which will implement the above criteria and can determine possible additional the criteria to be met Grade «B» a. To qualify for upgrading from a grade «C» to a grade «B» Licence, a Driver must : - reach their 15th birthday during the calendar year in which the Licence is issued (over 18 years old for Superkart Drivers). - have been classified in the first 10 in at least 3 national and/or international Competitions during the 24 months prior to his application. At least one of these 3 results have been obtained in a national Championship or an international Competition. b. Grade «B» Licences are issued by the Driver s ASN at the Driver s application Grade «A» a. To qualify for upgrading from a grade «B» to a grade «A» Licence, a Driver must : - reach their 15 th birthday during the calendar year in which the Licence is issued (over 18 years old for Superkart Drivers); - have obtained the following results in Championships or Competitions during the 24 months prior to his application : * either have been classified in the first 33% of the participants in a CIK-FIA Championship, Trophy or Cup run over a single Competition (if the first 33% represent more Drivers than the 34 finalists of a Championship, the rest of the selection of potential grade A Licence applicants will be based on the internediate classification after the Qualifying Heats) ; * or have scored points in the final classification of a CIK-FIA Championship, Trophy or Cup run over more than one Competition ; * or have been classified in the first 33% of the participants in the classification of 3 international Competitions, subject to these results having been obtained with a grade «B» international Licence. b. Grade A Licences are issued by the Driver s ASN, at the Driver s request. 215

8 2016 CIK-FIA KARTING ACADEMY TROPHY SPORTING REGULATIONS The CIK-FIA organises the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy («the Trophy») which is the property of the CIK-FIA. The Trophy title will be awarded to the Driver Winner of the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy. All the parties concerned (FIA, CIK-FIA, ASNs, Organisers, promoter, Entrants and circuits) undertake to apply and observe the rules governing the Trophy. REGULATIONS 1) The final text of these Sporting Regulations shall be the French version which will be used should any dispute arise as to their interpretation. Headings in this document are for ease of reference only and do not form part of these Sporting Regulations. GENERAL UNDERTAKINGS 2) All Drivers, Entrants and Officials participating in the Championship undertake, on behalf of themselves, their employees and their agents, to observe all the provisions of the International Sporting Code («the Code»), the Code of Driving Conduct on Karting Circuits, the Karting Technical Regulations («the Technical Regulations»), the General Prescriptions applicable to the CIK-FIA Karting international Competitions and Championships, Cups and Trophies («the General Prescriptions»), the Specific Prescriptions applicable to the CIK-FIA Karting Championships, Cups and Trophies («the Specific Prescriptions»), the Supplementary Regulations of the Competition concerned and these Sporting Regulations. 3) Only the CIK-FIA is entitled to grant waivers to these Sporting Regulations. THE TROPHY: PRINCIPLE AND RUNNING 4) The Trophy is run over three Competitions. 5) The Competitions counting towards the Trophy («the Competitions») will have the status of restricted international Competitions. 6) Each Competition will comprise a final phase named «Pre-Final» and «Final» in accordance with the number of participants in the Competition. The distance of the Pre- Finals and Final, from the starting signal to the chequered flag, will be equal to the minimum number of full laps necessary for reaching the respective distances of 15 km and 25 km. The chequered flag will be shown to the leading kart when it crosses the finishing line («the Line») at the end of the lap during which that distance is reached. The Line consists in a single line across the track..

9 CLASSIFICATION 7) Article 19 of the Specific Prescriptions. ENTRANTS APPLICATIONS 8) Applicants must hold valid Entrants International Licences and the necessary authorisations (visas) issued by their ASNs affiliated to the FIA. 9) The Entrant must be the father, the mother or the legal guardian of the Driver. 10) Applications to participate in the Trophy shall be submitted to the CIK-FIA by 1 st March by means of the entry form available from the ASNs and must be accompanied by the copies of the licences and by entry fees to the order of the FIA. Successful applicants are automatically admitted to all the Trophy Competitions and will be the only Entrants at these Competitions. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified before 15 March. No change of Entrant shall be allowed after the entry list has been made official. 11) All applications will be studied by the CIK-FIA, which will publish the list of karts and Drivers accepted, with their racing numbers, at the latest 15 days after the closing date for entries. 12) Applications shall include: a) confirmation that the applicant has read and understood the Code, the General Prescriptions, the Specific Regulations, the Appendices, the Technical Regulations and the Sporting Regulations and agrees, on his own behalf and on behalf of everyone associated with his participation in the Competition, to respect them; b) the name, contact details, data and a passport photo of the Driver, as well as a copy of his licence; c) an undertaking by the applicant to participate in every Competition; d) a deposit cheque of 600 euros guaranteeing that the candidate participates in all the Trophy Competitions and returns the equipment used, in good condition, to the single-supplier of karts; 13) The number of entries in the Trophy will be limited to 51. ELIGIBLE DRIVERS 14) Drivers who are at least 13 years old (or who reach their 13th birthday during the year) and 15 years old as a

10 maximum (not reaching their 16th birthday before 31 December of the year concerned). A Driver who has been classified among the top 15 in a previous CIK-FIA Championship of the Junior category will not be accepted. 15) Drivers shall be selected by their respective ASNs - one Driver per ASN. One entry will be reserved for a lady Driver selected by the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission. The acceptance of the other 50 candidatures will be established by priority order on the basis of the following criteria: a) ASNs having entered the most Competitions on the international sporting calendar and/or zone calendar during the previous season. b) ASNs which do not organise international or zone Competitions but have had the largest representation of their licence-holding Drivers in CIK-FIA Championships of the previous season. c) other ASNs meeting neither criterion «a», nor criterion «b» above but which have informed the CIK-FIA of their intention to select a Driver for the Trophy; d) should the total number of ASNs selecting a Driver be less than 50, ASNs meeting criterion «a» above would be invited to select a second Driver. The mode of selection of Drivers by ASNs comes within the sole remit of the latter. ASNs have to communicate the name of their selected Driver to the CIK-FIA before 31 March 16) Drivers holding a CIK-FIA Grade C-Junior International Karting Licence (issued by their ASN affiliated to the FIA, in compliance with Article of the International Karting Licences for Drivers & Driving Conduct. «a» «b» «a» ELIGIBLE KARTS AND EQUIPMENT 17) Each Competition is reserved for OK-Junior karts, as defined by the Technical Regulations, with the following specific characteristics for the engine: * float-chamber carburettor without electronic connections, which must remain strictly original, supplied sealed and pre-set by the single-supplier of engines. A single-supplier of karts, chosen further to a tender procedure, has been designated for the supply of all the karts used in the Trophy, according to a «turnkey» principle to be applied throughout the Trophy. The kart unit comprising all the elements delivered by the single-supplier cannot undergo any modifications whatsoever (except for the third rear axle bearing, which can be freed or totally dismounted) and must be used as supplied. The chassis elements can be set up only by using the basic mechanical settings. The transmission ratio (rear crown) must be the one indicated by the kart Supplier, with a tolerance of + or -1 cog. 18) Each Driver will be entitled to submit to Scrutineering the following equipment: Number of chassis: 1 (the one allocated to him by drawing lots for the Trophy). Number of engines: 1 (the one allocated to him by drawing lots for the Trophy). Sets of «slick» tyres: *, of the prescribed make for the Trophy The kart must be presented in full configuration (assembled chassis + bodywork + extra components) with the engine.

11 As from the Free Practice, each Driver may have the following equipment: Number of chassis : 1 (the one marked at Scrutineering) Number of engines : 1 (the one marked at Scrutineering) Sets of «slick» tyres : * (maximum number of tyres) Sets of «wet weather» tyres : 2 sets of new «wet weather» tyres for Qualifying Practice, Qualifying Heats, Second Chance Heat and final phase. The number of «wet weather» tyres reserved for Free Practice and Warm-Ups is not limited * MAXIMUM NUMBER OF SLICK TYRES a) Reserved for use in Free Practice and Warm-ups: - 1 set of new «slick» tyres + 1 set of previously allocated «slick» tyres from the previous Competition, except for the first Competition (the set of «slick» tyres from the Tst Day) b) Reserved for use from Qualifying Practice until the Final : - 1 set of new «slick» tyres c) Distribution: At the respective Competition and according to the timetable, a voucher must be acquired from the tyre Manufacturer/Distributor. Tyres will be distributed and allocated by random draw in the Servicing Park. The bar codes corresponding to each Driver will be reproduced on the Technical Passport of the Driver concerned. d) Stocking: Tyres will be stocked under the responsability of the Entrant/Driver. After the tyres have been allocated by random draw, the Driver s number will be marked on them by the Servicing Park staff. Drivers are free to decide to fit their wet-weather tyres on rims. Any «wet-weather» tyre will be allocated in exchange for a Voucher from the tyre Manufacturer/ Dealer. It will be unwrapped (if it was wrapped), marked with the Driver s number and fitted on a rim. Fitted or unwrapped wet-weather tyres will not be taken back by the tyre Manufacturer/Dealer, even if they have not been used. Wrapped and non-fitted wet-weather tyres will be taken back at the end of the Competition by the tyre Manufacturers/Dealers, in the presence of the CIK-FIA Technical Delegate. e) Change: In case a «slick» tyre is punctured during Qualifying Practice, Qualifying Heats, possible Second Chance Heat, Pre-Final and Final, a Driver will be allowed to use a spare tyre (one of the «slick» tyres used during Free Practice) and have it registered under the supervision of the Technical Delegate. 19) Any chassis damaged in a racing incident ascertained by Race Direction or by the Panel of the Stewards may be pointed out to the Technical Delegate, who will be the only Official entitled to allow or refuse the replacement of the damaged chassis by a chassis that was not registered at Scrutineering and that will be taken from among chassis of the make concerned initially marked by the CIK-FIA. 20) On decision of the Stewards, the Scrutineers will be authorised at any time of the Competition to interchange Entrants equipment (chassis, engine, carburettor, ignition, inlet silencer, axle, accessories) with another Entrant s equipment or with equivalent substitution equipment taken, by drawing lots, from the stock of the Supplier concerned. 21) The measuring device MiniRAE Lite of the company «RAE Systems Inc. (USA)» will be used in Qualifying Practice, Qualifying Heats, Second Chance Heat and Final Phase to check that the tyres are in conformity with the regulations. The VOC measurement of the tyres may not exceed 15 ppm (maximum limiting value) under any circumstances. Note: Pollution of the tyres, e.g. by chain spray, must be avoided since this can result in the limiting value being exceeded. Should the check establish that one or more tyres are not in conformity with the regulations, the relevant Driver will not be allowed access to the Assembly Area: consequently no participation in the corresponding part of the competition (Qualifying Practice, Qualifying Heats, Second Chance Heat, Pre-Final and Final). Protests against this procedure are not admitted. Protests and Appeals in this regard do not have a suspensive effect. 22) Exclusive tyre supplier VEGA is the exclusive supplier of the tyres. The tyres supplied will be as follows: XM CIK F/Z Option 10X (front) and XM CIK F/Z Option 11X (rear) for slick tyres, W5 10X (front) and W5 11X (rear) for «wet weather» tyres. The fuel of the Panta make will be supplied by Panta at the price of 4.39 (all taxes included) per litre at the venue of the Competitions, without its being necessary for Competitors to order it previously. The appointed fuel Supplier s lorry will arrive at the circuit the day before the first Free Practice (see schedule). This programme is subject to modifications. Any modification shall be published.
