18 On Current Trends in the English Presentation Textbooks for Teaching Collegelevel English NISHINA YasunoriLecturer, Language Education Center, Ritsumeikan University The aim of this study is to identify the improvement factors for the current English presentation textbooks utilized for teaching college-level English. The results of this study are based on data gathered from the questionnaire survey on the English presentation textbook Power Presentation: Eigo de Presentation (Sanshusha, ), which was used as a sample. In order to evaluate the contents of the textbook under study in an objective manner, this study also presents a comparison of published English presentation textbooks, focusing on several aspects, before presenting the results of the questionnaire survey.
