Communication Robot for Expressing User s Physically Aggressive Behavior Maiko Adachi Abstract This thesis investigates how to relieve stress without breaking social common sense by physically and negatively attacking a robot. Since the effect of this attacking behavior has not been investigated, we examine how people change their thesis depending on the appearances and reactions of the robot while the subject is attacking. The experimental results show that life-like robots effect people who enjoy attacking. The subjects are classified by types of prefer to attacking life-like robots and prefer to attacking artificial-looking robots. It is revealed that the former can enjoy attacking the life-like robots so that they often feel a kind of guilty as the aftereffect.
