thereore, a macron or consecutive same voels may not aear in the score, since the duration o the voel is determined y the given note value In order to make the syllaic searation clearer, an aostrohe may aear: 1) to indicate a clear searation ith a ossile glottal attack eore a voel [eg, a ig man 'otoko = -'o-to-ko [ootoko],];
