1 交換学生名 Name 第 2740 地区国際青少年交換委員会 2012 年 4 月交換学生報告ホストクラフ名 Hostclub 受入学校名 School ホストファミリー名 Host Family サマンサエリザベスラック諫早南ロータリークラッブ長崎日本大学学園荒木さんの家族は : 謙爾 ( 父 ), 由紀美 ( 母 ), ミヅエ ( 祖母 ), 唯夏 ( 妹 ) 麗慎 ( 弟 ) 新ホストファミリーへ移動予定日月移動予定 5 月 20 日 2012 年新ホストファミリー氏名健康状態 : Health 北尾さん私は時々口内炎があってから旅行のときに歯磨きを忘れてしまった口内炎が本当に痛いですよ各種行事への参加 Activity 今月で私は 2 回旅行に行きました 1. 城島高原パーク (4 月 4 日 5 日 ) 4 日の夜車で出発して次の日の朝に起きたら城島高原パークに着いていました本当に荒木の家族メンバーに慣れてと思います二人の子供たちと一緒に座っていて私は 12 歳のときに戻った気分でしたパークで色んなコースターに乗りました時々唯夏ちゃんは怖がっていたと思いましたですが私はコースターが大好きなので怖くありませんでしたお父さんはカナダのお母さんに似てコースターが好きでした弟はコースターが怖くて泣いてしまいましたカナダの弟も小さい時にコースターが怖かったですよ 2. 東京の旅行 (24 日から 28 日まで ) 5 年間前から私の夢は三鷹東京のジブリ美術館に行くことでしたこの美術館はスタジオジブリと宮崎駿の作品がありました 4 月 24 日唯夏ちゃんと一緒に飛行機に乗って羽田空港に着きました高江洲ゆうこさんは私たち空港にを迎えに来てくれましたゆうこさんの家に泊まりました 25 日に 3 人でジブリ美術館に行きましたとても面白かったです 16 歳のときに行くことができて嬉しかったです今アニメイターになりたいと思っています 26 日から 28 日まで私と唯夏は唯夏の親戚の家に泊まりました横浜に泊まりましたずっと旅行のときに唯夏ちゃんにアホ変体ちゃんと呼んでましたでもそれは兄弟の遊びですよじゃれ合いですよ ( 笑 ) 27 日で新宿ジャズスッポトの一番好きの音楽家大野雄二さんのライブに見に行きました横浜は大阪のライブスタジオよりも小さかった横浜の場たくさん CD を買いました大野雄二さんは 70 歳ですよ大野雄二がピアノを弾きながら彼はたくさん立ち上がった時々彼は肘で弾きました演奏の後に大野さんにハグをしましたそれとちょっと恥ずかしいお願いを頼みました大野雄二さん私の結婚式に来て演奏をしてくれてくださいと頼みました. 大野さんは :

2 学校関係 School その他 Other 私がその日にまだ生きているならいいよと言ってくれました大野さんが長生きしてくれることを願っています私は学校が好きです私はこの学校に行けてとても嬉しいです旅行の後学校に帰ってクラスメイトが私と笑ってとハグをしていました日大のデビカの ( デザイン美術科 ) クラスメイトを忘れません頭髪服装検査のときに私は隣の人と日本語の会話をしていました桜の満開のときに大村でロータリーアンのコテージで花見 BBQ をしましたとても気持ちよかったですとてもきれいでした子供たちとかくれんぼをしましたかくれんぼはとても懐かしかったですよコテージの近くは海があってそこにあったショベルカーでお父さんが遊んでいました彼は見かけは大人考えはこどもでした 4 月 3 日 : 私の家の近くに制服に着替えてそして私と桜一緒に写真を撮りました日本にいれば美しい桜が見れます

3 4 月 1 日 : 城島高原パーク ( 大分県 ) に行ってる途中私とホストファミリの兄弟と車の中に写真を撮りました 4 月 1 日 : 唯夏と謙爾と私はスーパーマンに乗りました私と唯夏の初めてでしたよ!

4 4 月 7 日 : ロータリアンのコテージで私と唯夏と古川さんの 2 人の娘は桜の前でジャンプポーズをしました 4 月 15 日 : 私と謙爾は 1 箱のバナナボーイズのアイスを買いましたとてもおいしいよ! このアイスがとても好きですよ!

5 4 月 25 日 : ジブリ美術館の屋上に私と唯夏ちゃんと天空の城ラピュタのロボットです April 25, 2012: ジブリ美術館の後東京で猫カフェに行って猫たちに一緒に遊びましたこの小さいの猫カフェは 20 匹の猫がいるんですよ飲み物も飲めリますよでも唯夏ちゃんは猫のアレルギーがあったから私たちはすぐにカフェを出ました

When I was travelling I kept forgetting to brush my teeth 各種行事への参加 Activity Ok so I have gone on 2 big trips so far this month 1. Oita, Kijima Amusement Park, (April 4 th and 5 th 2012) So on April 4 th we drove through the night to Oita and I slept in the car with my host family. It felt like a real family bonding experience, I felt I was 12 again with my 2 brothers, but instead I was with my host family siblings. We arrived at the amusement park and went on lots of fun rides and roller coasters. My host sister was a little scared at times but I love roller coasters so seeing that I wasn t scared, she sometimes grew at ease. My host father was like my Canadian mom, who rides all the roller coasters as well, while my host mother, was like my Canadian father (who doesn t like heights or roller coasters). And then my host brother who was scared to go on the roller coasters just like my little Canadian brother when we were Tokyo Trip So it has been my dream for 5 years to visit the Studio Ghibli Museum in Tokyo So on April 24 th, I went with my host sister and took a plane to Tokyo and stayed at my friend Kazuo Takaesu s daughter s house in Tokyo. Her name was Yuko Takaesu. On April 25 th, the three of us went to the Studio Ghibli Museum. This museum was so inspiring. I am glad that I went at this age I am now because seeing all the pictures and rough art and seeing the history of animation which really makes me want to get into the animation industry. After that, on April me and my host sister stayed with my host sister s

8 relatives in Yokohama (Tokyo) because Yuko Takaesu had to return to work. So on April 27 th, I was so fortunate because me, my host sister and her relatives all went to Tokyo to see another live concert of my favourite musician ever Yuji Ohno. The place was small and I got to sit closer than when I went to the live concert in Osaka a few months ago. I bought many of his CD s and my parents are not going to be happy with me, but one thing for sure is that if you truly enjoy listening to a certain artist, you should support them instead of downloading the music illegally. Anyway so it was a real nice atmosphere and still, Yuji Ohno at the age of 70, (turning 71 in May), still has his stuff. He was standing up and playing the piano with his elbow which was very interesting to watch. When I went to talk with him I gave him a hug. At the end of the show, I had an embarrassing question/request but I got a friend to translate it to him. When I get married, will you consider maybe playing for my wedding ceremony? I asked. If I live long enough, haha. He replied. Then live long, be careful and keep smiling. I stated. I m guessing he will keep playing until he dies. One thing for sure is whenever I see him on that piano, it s hard for him to stop playing and he always looks like he is enjoying himself. 学校関係 School その他 Other I love my school. I was very lucky to go to such a good school. When I returned back from my trip I was greeted by smiles and some hugs. :) I will never forget my Nichidai DEBIKA (Design and Fine Arts) classmates. During Uniform Inspection I was at the end of the line of the girls to be checked (because I am an exchange student) and the girl who was in front of me, we had a fun casual conversation of Where did you go during Golden Week?. After being able to have a 85% good conversation I was so happy. In the middle of April during the blooming of the cherry blossoms, we all went to a summer cottage that one of the Rotarian s owned. The location was so nice, I felt like I was back at my summer cottage in Canada. The cottage was in Omura, which is a town that is about 20 minutes away from my town. So we spent an afternoon there and ate lunch and I got to be a kid again and play hide and seek. It s been a long time since I ve played hide and seek. My host father drove the children to the ocean and on the beach there was a nice

9 summer cottage as well we found a small excavator vehicle and because at his work it is his job working on them he had a little fun. He is a kid in an adult body one of the Rotarian s stated. April 3 rd : Near my house, me wearing my school uniform holding a cherry blossom branch. You have to be in Japan to appreciate and see the wonder and beauty of these trees.

First time! April 7 th 2012: Me, one of the Rotarian s two daughters and my host sister Yuina all at the summer cottage in front of the cherry blossom tree (sakura) doing a jump pose.

11 April 15 th 2012: My host father and I with the box of Banana Boys ( バナナボーイズ ) ice-cream that my host mother bought. Let s just say I was pretty excited. April 14, 2012: My host grandma and my host sister waiting for the train to take us to central Isahaya to take me to go shopping for art materials.

12 April 25 th 2012: My host sister and I at the Studio Ghibli Museum in Mitaka Tokyo. This robot was on the roof of the museum. This robot is from the famous movie of Studio Ghibli -> Laputa Castle in the Sky. April 25, 2012: After we visited the Studio Ghibli Museum we went to this Cat Café.

You could also have something to drink as well. We had to leave quickly because Yuina has a cat allergy and her eyes became red.

13 In Tokyo there are many Cat Café s you can visit. At this café there were about 20 cats in this small room and you would pay for how many hours you would spend time with the cats. April 27 th 2012: Yuji Ohno Trio (piano, bass and drums) live at the Shinjuku Jazz Spot in Tokyo. Yuji Ohno is 70 years old. He looks so young! In May he will turn 71. His music was so nice to listen to live.
