Analysis on the Hikikomori Phenomenon among Japanese Teenagers HUANG Xi-shan,LIU Ming Abstract:The hikikomori phenomenon among teenagers is a problem haunting the modern Japanese society, and a typical educational abnormality on Japanese campuses. This paper begins with the definition and types of hikikomori,analyzing how pervasive it is in the Japanese society,then it elaborates its psychological implication and negative effects,and probes into the background of its existence in Japan. In the end,the Paper sums up the efforts made by the Japanese society to tackle hikikomori and the future trend of such efforts. Key words:hikikomori teenagers Japan psychological assistance ( 5 ) Research on the Present Status and Future Trends of American High School Curriculum Reform CHEN Shi-jian,HE Dong-feng Abstract:NCLB Act had a great impact on curriculum reform of American high school. This paper analyzes American high school curriculum reform in the context of high school crisis and the transition of curriculum policy, and introduces the objectives and main contents of high school curriculum reform. In fact, American high school curriculum reform has greatly improved high school graduation requirements, developed high school curriculum content and improved the curriculum standards and relevant assessments system.
