We are continuing in chapter 9. 導入 / 復習 : 黙示録を開いて下さい続く 9 章です 1. Much of this book, which was originally a letter written by the Apostle John deals with the End Times events called the Great Tribulation. この本のほとんどはもともとは弟子のヨハネによって書かれた大患難時代と呼ばれる終末の出来事を取り扱う手紙でした a. It is a 7-year period of time that will begin after the church is Raptured and taken up to heaven. 教会が取り去られ天国へと引き上げらた後に始まる 7 年間の期間です b. Those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior will remain on the earth and will face unimaginable suffering and trouble キリストを個人的な主としてまた救い主として受け入れていない人々はこの地上に取り残され想像も出来ないほどの苦しみや困難に直面するでしょう 1) As God s wrath falls upon the face of the earth in judgment of their sin. 彼らの罪に裁きを下すために神様の怒りが地上に下る時です c. According to this book, God s judgment will fall upon the earth in three groups of seven. 黙示録によると神様の裁きは 7 つの出来事の 3 つのグループによって下ります 1) There are seven Seal Judgments, seven Trumpet Judgments, and seven Bowl Judgments. 7 つの封印の裁き 7 つのラッパの裁きそして 7 つの鉢の裁きです 2) Today we will see the fifth Trumpet Judgment as we begin the 9 th chapter. 9 章を学ぶ今日私達は 5 つ目のラッパの裁きを見るでしょう a) We will be looking at verses 1-12 in two parts, both this week and next. 1 節から 12 節を二つに分けて今週と来週で学びます Read Revelation 9:1-12 (NKJV) 1 and Pray 9 章 1 節 ~12 節を読んでお祈りをします 1 Unless otherwise marked, all scripture references taken from the New King James Version. 2 2 1. Last week we saw the first four Trumpet Judgments and it was some scary stuff. 先週私達は最初の 4 つのラッパの裁きを見ましたがそれは恐ろしい事でした a. These are horrible events which will actually occur during the second half of the Tribulation period, the last 3 1/2 years of that time period. 患難時代の後半の間最後の 3 年半の間に実際に起こる幾つかの最悪な出来事があります 2. As we begin chapter 9, we are about to see the 5 th of 7 trumpet blasts. 私達が 9 章を始めるに際して 7 つのラッパの中の 5 つ目が鳴るのを見ます a. And this 5 th trumpet blast is the first of the three woes spoken of back at the end of Revelation 8 (v13). そしてこの 5 つ目のラッパの音は 8 章 13 節に語られた 3 つの災いの最初です b. The first four blasts of the trumpet are nothing in comparison with what s ahead. 最初の 4 つのラッパの音はこの先に起こることに比べれば無に等しいです Revelation 9:1 1 Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. 黙示録 9 章 1 節 : 第五の御使いがラッパを吹き鳴らしたすると私は一つの星が天から地上に落ちるのを見たその星には底知れぬ穴を開くかぎが与えられた 1. John speaks of a fallen star, but the context of the passage quickly makes it clear that this is no literal star at all. ヨハネは落下した星について語っていますが聖句の文脈ではこの星は全く文字通りの星ではないことをすぐに明らかにします a. John says of this star that to him was given the key to the bottomless pit. ヨハネはこの星についてその星には底知れぬ穴を開くかぎが与えられたと言っています b. Immediately we are led to the conclusion that this star is a person, or a being of sorts 2

3 3 すぐに私達はこの星は人または生き物のような物という結論へと導かれます 1) Which leads us to the logical question, then who is this person or being? この結果は私たちを論理的な質問へと導きその次にこの人または生き物のような物は誰? という質問へと導きます a) Pastor David Guzik tells us that Suggestions have included Nero, a fallen angel, an evil spirit, Satan, the Word of God, a good angel, or even Jesus Himself. デイビッドグジックはこのように言っています幾つかの提案はネロサタンについた御使い ( 堕天使 ) 悪霊サタン神様の御言葉御使いまたはイエス様自身さえも含んでいます c. But in context with the passage, most agree that it is an angel and that it s most likely a reference to Satan. しかしこの聖句の文脈ではほとんどがそれは御使いそして多分サタンではないかと思います 2. John tells us that this star has fallen. ヨハネはこの星は落下したと教えています a. In the original Greek, this word is in the perfect tense, which means that it started in the past and continues in that state. ギリシャ語の語源ではこの世は完了時制の中にありこれは過去に始まりその状態が今まで続くと言うことです 1) In other words, this star has already fallen from Heaven and remains in that fallen state. 言い換えればこの星は天国から既に落下しており落下した状態で残っているのです b. It is this description that leads us to believe that John is describing Satan この記述はヨハネはサタンを記述していると私達が考えるように導いています 1) Isaiah 14:12 15 describes the fall of Satan: イザヤ 14:12~15 では落ちたサタンについて書いています 12 How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! :12 暁の子明けの明星よどうしてあなたは天から落ちたのか国々を打ち破った者よどうしてあなたは地に切り倒されたのか First, Lucifer is another name for Satan and Lucifer literally means Day Star. What was the reason for Satan s fall? まず明けの明星はサタンの別の名前であり明けの明星とは文字通り昼間の星ですサタンが落ちた理由は何だったのでしょうか? 13 For you have said in your heart: I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the 3

4 4 farthest sides of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High. 15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit. :13 あなたは心の中で言った私は天に上ろう神の星々のはるか上に私の王座を上げ北の果てにある会合の山にすわろう :14 密雲の頂に上りいと高き方のようになろう :15 しかしあなたはよみに落とされ穴の底に落とされる 2) We see that both Isaiah and John in Revelation use some of the same wording and imagery to describe the fallen angel named Satan or Lucifer. サタンまたは明けの明星と言う名前の堕ちた天使を記述するためにイザヤとヨハネが黙示録の中で同じ言い回しと比喩を使っているのが分かります c. Jesus, in talking to the disciples said in Luke 10:18 I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. イエス様はルカ 10:18 で弟子たちに話す際にこのように言われましたイエスは言われたわたしが見ているとサタンがいなずまのように天から落ちました d. In Revelation 12:9, 12 it says, 黙示録 12:9,12 でこのように言っています 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. :9 こうしてこの巨大な竜すなわち悪魔とかサタンとか呼ばれて全世界を惑わすあの古い蛇は投げ落とされた彼は地上に投げ落とされ彼の使いどもも彼とともに投げ落とされた 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time. :12 それゆえ天とその中に住む者たち喜びなさいしかし地と海とにはわざわいが来る悪魔が自分の時の短いことを知り激しく怒ってそこに下ったからである e. The bible leads us to believe that currently Satan, even though he remains a fallen angel, has limited access to heaven where he accuses the saints before God we see this in Job 1-2. 聖書は現在のサタンサタンが堕ちた天使に留まっていたとしてもサタンには神様の前で聖徒たちを責めている天国へのアクセスに制限があるとヨハネ 1 章と 2 章で見ることができます 1) But during the Tribulation period, perhaps at or about the mid-way point, 3 1/2 years into it, Satan will be cast out of heaven permanently. しかし患難時代の間もしかしたら中間地点の 3 年半の中でサタンは天国から永遠に追い出されるでしょう 2) He s going to get bounced from heaven (kicked out), expelled for the rest of eternity. サタンは天国から追い出され残された永遠の間から追放されます 4

5 5 Continuing in verse 1 (Rev 9:1b-2) To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. 1 節の続き ( 黙示録 9:1 後半 ~2) その星には底知れぬ穴を開くかぎが与えられた 9:2 その星が底知れぬ穴を開くと穴から大きな炉の煙のような煙が立ち上り太陽も空もこの穴の煙によって暗くなった 1. Notice that Satan doesn t possess the key to the bottomless pit, he is given the key. サタンは底知れぬ穴を開く鍵を自分で持っておらず鍵を与えられたことに注意して下さい a. God is using Satan and these events to bring about His will. 神様は神の御心を行うためにサタンとこれらの出来事を用いられています b. Satan is serving God s purpose, even if he does not intend to. サタンは神様の目的のために仕えていますもしサタンがそうするつもりがなくてもです 2. This tells us something. これは私たちに何かを教えています a. God, through the power of the Holy Spirit is a restraining force currently in this world. 神様は聖霊の力を通して現在のこの世の抑制力なのです b. On our computers I ve installed an Internet filter called BSecure Coudcare. 私はパソコンに BSecure Coudcare と呼ばれるインターネットのフィルターをインストールしています 1) This software helps to filter out junk; language, images, certain content. このソフトウエアは迷惑な言葉画像特定の内容を除去してくれます 2) Here s the deal, I trust my kids, but I don t trust the internet. 私は自分の子供たちは信頼しますがインターネットは信頼しません a) The software serves as an added measure of accountability and safety. このソフトウエアはある程度の責任と安全性の追加された対策としての役割をします b) The software is not perfect, but it works well. このソフトウエアは完璧ではありませんがとても役立ちます c. In this world right now, everything is being filtered by God s Holy Spirit. 今この世は神様の聖霊によってろ過されています 1) He is filtering and restraining evil. But that won t be the case after the Rapture, during the Great Tribulation. 5

Satan is going to open the bottomless pit, hell itself will be opened and the smoke from hell s fires will come billowing out bringing more darkness upon the earth サタンは底知れぬ穴を開き地獄そのものが開かれそしてこの世に更なる闇をもたらす地獄の炎からの煙が立ち上ります a. Both literally and figuratively. 文字通りであり比喩的でもあります b. This will be in addition to the effects from the 4 th trumpet where a 1/3 of the sun, moon, and stars are struck and darkened. これは太陽月星の三分の一が打たれ闇となる 4 つ目のラッパからの影響に加えることです Revelation 9:3-5 3 Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4 They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. 黙示録 9:3~5 :3 その煙の中からいなごが地上に出て来た彼らには地のさそりの持つような力が与えられた :4 そして彼らは地の草やすべての青草やすべての木には害を加えないでただ額に神の印を押されていない人間にだけ害を加えるように言い渡された :5 しかし人間を殺すことは許されずただ五か月の間苦しめることだけが許されたその与えた苦痛はさそりが人を刺したときのような苦痛であった 1. As we began to see last week, many of these end times judgments parallel the plagues of Egypt in the book of Exodus. 先週を振り返るとこれらの終末の出来事の多くは出エジプト記のエジプトの災いに類似しています a. The eighth plague that befell the land of Egypt was locusts sent by God (Exo 10:1ff). エジプトの地に降りかかった 8 つ目の災いは神様によって送られたイナゴ ( 出エジプト 10:1) でした 1) But this end times event is different in that these locusts in the latter days will avoid the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree. しかしこの終末の出来事は終わりの日のイナゴが地の草やすべての青草やすべての木を避けるという点で異なっています a) Instead, they will attack men like scorpions with wicked painful results. その代わり非常な痛みを伴う結果でさそりのように人々を攻撃します b. In verse 7-10, which we ll get to in just a moment, John uses the word like 8 times in describing these locust creatures. 6

7 7 これから私達が取り掛かる 7~10 節ではヨハネはイナゴという生き物を記述するためにのようなという言葉を 8 回使用します 1) And from that we learn that John s not describing literal locust bugs, but something altogether different. そこから私達はヨハネが文字通りの虫のイナゴを記述しているのではなく全く違う何かを記述していることを学びます a) It s something that is associated with Satan the fallen star. 落ちた星であるサタンに関連した何かです b) What is coming up out of the pit of hell? Satan s demons coming to torment those still on the earth. 地獄の穴から出てくる物は何でしょう? サタンの悪霊たちがまだ地上に残っている人々を苦しめるために出て来ます John Walvoord writes that the locusts are A visual representation of the hordes of demons loosed upon the earth. ジョンウオルボードはイナゴたちをこのように書いています悪魔の群れが地上で解き放たれ事を視覚的に表しています Pastor John MacArthur interprets what John writes as, Vile demons, taking on a visible form resembling locusts, swarm[ing] out of the abyss to plague the earth. 牧師のジョンマッカーサーはヨハネの記述をこのように解釈しています卑劣な悪魔イナゴに似た形を取って地上に災いをもたらすために地の底から出てきた群れ 2) During the church-age and the time periods that preceded it, God s Holy Spirit acted as a restraining agent here on earth. 教会時代の間とその前の期間神様の聖霊がこの地上の抑制の代理人となっていました a) But in an act of judgment during the Great Tribulation, God will allow unparalleled demonic activity to take place on earth. しかし大患難時代の裁きとして神様は空前の凶暴な悪霊の行動がこの地上で起こることを許されます b) This satanically engineered activity will be as devastating and destructive as a plague of real locusts. このサタンの起こす行動は実際のイナゴの災いと同じくらい破壊的でしょう c) A visualization that the people of that time could well understand and imagine. 当時の人々が十分に理解し想像できるほどの視覚化です 2. But, those who have the seal of God on their foreheads will be protected from their attacks. 7

8 8 しかし額に神の印を押されている人々はイナゴの攻撃から守られるでしょう a. Remember this group from Revelation 7? The 144,000 Jewish evangelists who received the seal of God for power and protection. このグループは黙示録 7 章からだと覚えていますか? 力と守りのために神の印を受けた 144,000 人のユダヤ人の伝道者たちです 3. Even though these locust-like demons are released, there are still limits put on them for it is God who is still in control. いなごのようなこれらの悪霊たちが解き放たれますが悪霊たちの上に限界がまだありますなぜなら支配しておられるのは神様だからです a. And as such they cannot kill, they can only torment them for five months. という訳で悪霊たちは人々を殺すことが出来ず 5 ヶ月間苦しめることだけが許されました 1) Their purpose and period are expressly governed by God. 悪霊たちの目的と期間は神様によって明確に管理されています Revelation 9:6 6 In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them. 黙示録 9:6 その期間には人々は死を求めるがどうしても見いだせず死を願うが死が彼らから逃げて行くのである 1. There will be no escape from the agony inflicted by the demons, no escape from the judgment of God. 悪霊たちによる苦しみから逃れることは出来ず神様の裁きから逃れることは出来ません a. All attempts at suicide will fail. 全ての自殺の試みは失敗します b. Accidents will only lead to agony. 事故は苦しみに導くだけです c. Wars will only yield wounds for there will be no death, just more pain and suffering. 戦争は死ぬことのない傷を生みただ更なる痛みと苦しみだからです Revelation 9: The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men. 8 They had hair like women s hair, and their teeth were like lions teeth. 9 And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle. 10 They had 8

9 9 tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months. (emphasis added) 黙示録 9:7~10 :7 そのいなごの形は出陣の用意の整った馬に似ていた頭に金の冠のようなものを着け顔は人間の顔のようであった :8 また女の髪のような毛があり歯はししの歯のようであった :9 また鉄の胸当てのような胸当てを着けその翼の音は多くの馬に引かれた戦車が戦いに馳せつけるときの響きのようであった :10 そのうえ彼らはさそりのような尾と針とを持っており尾には五か月間人間に害を加える力があった 1. Like Like Like John says. It s clear he s not describing any type of locust that exists on earth presently. ヨハネはようなようなようなと言いますヨハネが現在地上に存在するどんな種類のイナゴをも記述しているのではないことは明らかです a. Some have suggested that the fulfillment of this will be helicopter gunships. 幾人かの人々はこの成就は武装ヘリコプターのようであろうと言います 1) Interesting notion, purely speculative, I suppose that s a possibility. 興味深い意見です純粋な推論です私はその可能性があるかと思います b. The point being that these locust-like demonic creatures will be pervasive, powerful and painful as they terrorize those on earth for five months. これらのイナゴのような悪霊たちは地上の人々を 5 ヶ月間怯えさせる間万延し強力で痛みをもたらすことがポイントです 2. I believe the various attributes of the locusts appearance actually represents the reason why the people on earth are being judged. 私はイナゴの外見の様々な特質は本当はなぜ地上の人々が裁かれるのかと言う理由を表していると考えます a. First, crowns of something like gold, the god of money. まず金の冠のようなものお金の神様です 1) People worship possessions and those who do will be ironically tortured by demonic creatures arrayed in gold. 人々は財産を拝みその人々は金で正装した悪魔のような生き物によって皮肉にもひどく苦しむでしょう b. These creatures will have the faces of men, and in these end times the people will be judged for worshiping the Antichrist and other men of prominence. これらの生き物は人間の顔を持ちこれら終末の中の人々は反キリストやその他の偉い人々を拝むことで裁かれます c. The locusts have hair like women s hair, which could speak of judgment upon those whose god is sexual pleasure. 9

10 10 イナゴは女の髪のような毛がありとは性的快楽を神としている人々に下る裁きのことを語っていることも出来ます 1) Those who have embraced sexual immorality, pornography, adultery, homosexuality, fornication and the likes. 性的不品行ポルノ写真不倫同性愛姦淫そしてそのようなものを抱く人々です d. The lions teeth could represent judgment upon the drunkard and glutton who is given to the gods of food and drink. ししの歯は食べ物とお酒の神を崇拝する酔っ払いと暴食家に下る裁きを表すことができます e. The breastplates of iron representing power and the judgment that comes upon those who prided themselves in the positions and power they hold over others. 鉄の胸当ては他者を支配する地位と権力を誇る人々の上に下る権力と裁きを表します 3. Point being, everyone is a worshipper, even the atheist! 要するに全ての人は拝む者無信論者でさえもです a. Those who do not worship God will be judged for that sin in the end times. 神様を拝まない人々は終わりの日にその罪のために裁かれるでしょう b. 1 John 2: For all that is in the world the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 第一ヨハネ 2:16~17 :16 すべての世にあるものすなわち肉の欲目の欲暮らし向きの自慢などは御父から出たものではなくこの世から出たものだからです :17 世と世の欲は滅び去りますしかし神のみこころを行なう者はいつまでもながらえます 11 Revelation 9:11 And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon. 黙示録 9:11 彼らは底知れぬ所の御使いを王にいただいている彼の名はヘブル語でアバドンといいギリシヤ語でアポリュオンという 1. This is another indication that these creatures are not literal locusts for they have a king. これはこれらの生き物は文字通りのイナゴではないことを示していますなぜなら彼らには王様がいるからです a. Proverbs 30:27 says, The locusts have no king, yet they all advance in ranks. 箴言 30:27 でこのように言っていますいなごには王はないがみな隊を組んで出て行く 2. The leader of these demonic beings has two names. これら悪魔のような生き物のリーダーには二つの名前があります 10

11 11 a. His Hebrew name Abaddon means Destruction. ヘブル語で破壊という意味のアバドン b. His Greek name Apollyon means Destroyer. ギリシャ語で破壊者という意味のアポリュオン 1) This is obviously Satan himself leading the efforts in destroying and bringing destruction to the face of the earth. これは明らかにサタン自身でありサタンが地上を破壊することを導いています 3. In 1 Peter 5:6 9 it says, 6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. 第一ペテロ 5:6~9 ではこう言っています :6 ですからあなたがたは神の力強い御手の下にへりくだりなさい神がちょうど良い時にあなたがたを高くしてくださるためです :7 あなたがたの思い煩いをいっさい神にゆだねなさい神があなたがたのことを心配してくださるからです :8 身を慎み目をさましていなさいあなたがたの敵である悪魔がほえたけるししのように食い尽くすべきものを捜し求めながら歩き回っています :9 堅く信仰に立ってこの悪魔に立ち向かいなさいご承知のように世にあるあなたがたの兄弟である人々は同じ苦しみを通って来たのです a. While Satan is currently restrained, he is still waging spiritual war with Christians and he s out seeking whom he may devour. サタンは抑制されている現在もまだクリスチャンと霊的戦いを遂行し食い尽くすべきものを捜し求めています 1) Have you been facing a problem? 問題に直面したことがありますか? 2) Don t be fooled by the symptoms. 兆候に騙されないで下さい a) You may think the problem is your spouse, or your children, or this assignment or location, or that it s your boss or neighbor. あなたはその問題は配偶者あなたの子供仕事場所上司または近所の人と思うかもしれません b) I would suggest to you that it may very well be Satan himself at work in those circumstances trying to cause confusion, division, and frustration. 困惑分裂やフラストレーションを起こそうとする状況の中でサタン自身が強く働いているのかもしれないと私は思います 11

12 12 3) Begin by humble yourselves and make sure you are under the mighty hand of God. まずあなた自身が謙遜になり神の全能な御手の下にいることを確認することから初めて下さい a) Second, be wise and know where the fight is coming from. Don t let Satan take any ground in your life, home, job, or your circumstances. 二番目に賢くなり戦いがどこから来るかを知って下さいサタンにあなたの生活家庭仕事またはあなたの状況に立ち入らないようにして下さい b) With God s help Fight for your HOME! Don t believe the lie. 神様の助けによってあなたの家庭のために戦って下さい嘘を信じないで下さい c) In Love, fight for your SPOUSE and for your KIDS! 愛をもってあなたの配偶者と子供のために戦ってください 4. Satan will be given room to run rampant during the Great Tribulation; don t let him do it now. サタンには大患難時代の間にはびこる余地が与えられますしかし今はサタンをはびこらせないで下さい Revelation 9:12 after these things. 12 One woe is past. Behold, still two more woes are coming 黙示録 9:12 第一のわざわいは過ぎ去った見よこの後なお二つのわざわいが来る! 1.
