A Review of studies on factor of caregivers well-being in Japan Atsuko Saburi This article is a review of the studies focused on caregivers positive feeling aiming at promoting caregivers well-being. Investigation showed that there are numerous factors related to caregivers positive feeling. The factors were classified into caregivers internal resources and external resources. Following factors were examined as caregivers internal resources : caregivers mental state and understanding for caregiving, caregivers physical condition, caregivers action of caregiving, caregivers daily life. As external resources : condition of disabled family member, situation of family except caregivers, social resource. There were a few studies examining relation of internal resources and external resources. It became clear that while numerous surveys were conducted, there are few research about self-help group as a external resources. It is important that research will be conducted on self-help group and new resources relating to caregivers positive feeling, and that external resources promoting caregivers positive feeling are developed.
