GRAMMAR REVIEW: ( 文法復習 ) Topic: Sentence Patterns Compound Complex (5-6 minutes) ( 文型 重複文 ) General Description: The compound-complex sentence is made up of one or more dependent clauses AND two or more independent clauses. An independent clause has a subject and a verb and expresses a complete thought. A dependent clause has a subject and a verb but has an incomplete thought. ( 重複文は 1 つ以上の従属節と 2 つ以上の独立節から構成されます 独立節は主語と動詞から成り 完結した考 えを示します 従属節も主語と動詞から成りますが 完結した考えは示しません ) Page 3
