Grammar Review( 文法の復習 ) Whom or Who? Whom と Who の違い Whom is used when you are referring to the object of a sentence (the object of the sentence is the receiver of the action). Whom は文の目的語 ( 動作の対象を表す語 ) を指す際に用いられます Examples: 例文 1. Whom did you send the letter to? あなたは誰にその手紙を送りましたか? I sent it to Mr. Kamura. 私は加村さんに送りました (Whom refers to the receiver of the letter, Mr. Kamura -> object of the sentence) Whom は the letter の受取人である Mr. Kamura( 文の目的語 ) を指します 2. Whom are you giving the invitations to? あなたは誰に招待状を渡す予定ですか?
