1 The Sprit of Hospitality in Christianity OTSU Yuri The term hospitality has become extremely popular these days. Hospitality is considered important in the tourist industry as it increases customer satisfaction and promotes sales performance. But just what is hospitality? Before we go on using the word casually without fully grasping its meaning, it is fitting to look once again at its roots in Christian and Western thought and in the human spirit itself.
