16 Warning! FLIGHT MANUAL Non-observance of this information could lead to serious injury and/or damage to property. Pre-Flight Checks Flying After Flying Safety Precautions Only fly model aeroplanes in areas away from houses and places where people gather. The weight and speed of your aeroplane make it a potential hazard. Make sure that the area around you is clear. For radio equipment, refer to the instruction manual included with your set. Check that the spinner and the propeller are securely fastened. If the model begins to operate by itself, there is another transmitter operating on your frequency. Do not try to operate your model if this happens, but change your transmitter and receiver crystals to another frequency. OFF ON Fully extend transmitter aerial. Switch on the transmitter. ON Switch on the receiver. ON Do not fly your aeroplane if it is a windy day or there are strong cross winds. Fill the fuel tank. By moving the various transmitter controls, ensure that all control surfaces move the way you intend them to. To start the engine, set low throttle on the transmitter and hold the engine starter against the spinner. Switch on engine starter. Adjust the throttle needle. Move the throttle control stick on the transmitter and check that the carburettor opens and closes easily. Always land your airplane into the wind. WIND Bring your airplane to a halt by lowering the engine control trim. After each flight, the engine is hot. Beware of getting burned. Switch off the receiver. OFF ON OFF Switch off the transmitter. OFF Draw the remaining fuel out of the tank and fill it back into the can. Wipe up any fuel deposits or dirt. Always regulate the engine from behind, but never from infront or from the sides, because a rotating propeller might badly injure you. Do not allow watching people to get too close to a rotating propeller. Immediately disuse defective propellers as well as deformed spinners. If the batteries of the radio system are flat, replace them with new ones. Do not fly your airplane above people standing around. Check that the wings are properly and firmly affixed. Launch the aeroplane into the wind. WIND Only use KYOSHO genuine parts. Never throw burning, gleaming or smouldering things into fuel cans, even if these happen to be empty. This could result in serious injury TEL () 10:00~18: PINTED IN CHINA
