3 BEFORE YOU BEGIN 1 Read through the manual before you begin, so you will have an overall idea of what to do. Check all parts. If you find any defective or missing parts, contact your local dealer or our Kyosho Distributor. 3 Changes in weather may cause the covering film to slacken.if necessary,use a heat gun or iron to tighten the covering. 4 You can keep the covering film from wrinkling or peeling by spraying the plane with clear polyurethane. 5 Symbols used throughout this instruction manual, comprise: Apply epoxy glue. Apply instant glue (CA glue, super glue). Assemble left and right sides the same way. mm mm Drill holes with the specified diameter (here: mm). Cut off shaded portion. Must be purchased separately! Cut off excess. Ensure smooth non-binding movement while assembling. Pay close attention here! Do not overlook this symbol! 1 Main Wing Metal Hinge Secure metal hinges with epoxy being careful to avoid geting glue in the hinge pin areas. Tow kinds of hinges are used on each surface, Make sure only epoxy is used on the metal hinges and only CA glue is used on the nylon hinges. Nylon hinge Secure nylon hinges with instant glue, being careful not to glue the wing and aileron together. Align the center line of main wing with aileron. Main Wing Ensure that the two wing halves are securety glued together with epoxy. Note the direction. Front Top Dihedral angle Cut away covering film only in these locations. 70mm 3

Aileron Servo Place the aileron horn in the position indicated above. Set all screws securely.

Spring Washer 4 Make certain enginemount fits your choice engine securely. Only the enginelugs should make contact with the mount.change the mount if necessary. 0.7 Drill and tap holes to suit engine.use 0.7tap. Make certain screws are tight and cannot come loose during flight. 416mm 4 x 16 mm Spring Washer Engine Engine Mount 6 Fuel tank 35mm 3 x 35mm TP TP Screw 1 After confirming the direc-tion (see front view of fuel tank), insert and tighten the screw. 5mm Fix tank in fuselage with silicon glue. Apply epoxy glue. Pay close attention here! X Assemble as many times as specified (here:twice). Do not disregard this symbol! 5

Paper tube A AÕ Cut away film here. A = AÕ DonÕt cut the balsa planking under the film. Make certain wing securely attaches to fuse erratic flight and/or crashes can result if it comes loose during flight. Apply epoxy glue. Pay close attention here! Do not disregard this symbol! Being careful not to glue the fin and rudder together. mm Secure metalhinges with epoxy. Being careful to avoid getting glue in the hingepin areas. 15 FLIGHT MANUAL Always do observe the following in order to prevent accidents! Before Flying Flying After Flying Cautions for Safety Before enjoying flying your airplane, sufficiently make sure the airfield is spacious. Always fly it outside rooms in safe areas with no debris or obstacles! Do not fly your airplane when there is a strong wind or side wind. Always land your airplane into the wind. WIND Always regulate the engine from behind, but never from infront or from the sides, because a rotating propeller might badly injure you. For radio equipment, refer to the manual included with the radio. Check that the spinner and the propeller are securely fastened. If the model begins to operate by itself, there is another transmitter on your frequency. Do not try to operate your model under such condition for it may go out of control. OFF ON Fully extend transmitter antenna. Switch on the transmitter. ON Switch on the receiver. ON Fill in the fuel. By moving the controls (transmitter), check that all rudders move the way you adjusted them. By moving the throttle control, check that the engine carburetor easily opens and closes. For starting the engine, apply low throttle and hold the engine starter against the spinner. Adjust the needle. Bring your airplane to a halt by lowering the engine control trim. After each flight, the engine is hot. Beware of getting burned. Switch off the receiver. OFF ON OFF Switch off the transmitter. OFF Draw the remaining fuel out of the tank and fill it back into the can. Wipe up any fuel deposits or dirt. Do not allow watching people to get too close to a rotating propeller. Immediately disuse defective propellers as well as deformed spinners. If the batteries of the radio system are flat, replace them with new ones. Do not fly your airplane above people standing around. Check that the wings are properly and firmly affixed. Hand-launch your airplane into the wind and make it take off. WIND Only use KYOSHO genuine parts. Never throw burning, gleaming or smouldering things into fuel cans, even if these happen to be empty.
