1 Economic Study of Immigration Problem Toshio KOSAKI Abstract This paper considered the issue of acceptance of the foreign worker in the labor market. In Section, I surveyed the immigrant situation of other countries including our country. In Section, I considered it about wage and the employment about the foreign acceptance in the perfect competition market theoretically. By the acceptance of the immigrant, wages decrease, and the employment increases. Unemployment occurs if I accept immigrants by economy with wage rigidities. Tolerance of the social security of the country affect the skill population composition of immigrants. The wage gap of the own country spreads when we accept unskilled-workers, and the wage gap reduces if we receive skilledworkers. When we accept a foreign worker in the double labor market where there is discrimination against foreign worker, the wage gap spreads. Finally I considered the financial problem of the immigration acceptant country by the immigration acceptant. Keyword; Foreign workers, the labor market, immigration
