Adverbial time phrases are prepositional phrases with the same function. ( 時を表す副詞は動詞句文を修飾する副詞で何かが起こった時を示します時を表す副詞句は前置詞句? であり同じく起こった時を示します ) Ex. She bought some spinach yesterday. (adverb) ( 例 : 彼女は昨日いくらかのほうれん草を買った ( 副詞 )) He visited me in the morning. (adverbial phrase) ( 彼は朝に私を訪ねた ( 副詞句 )) Both adverbial time words and phrases answer the question When? ( 上記の副詞と副詞句は両方ともいつ? という質問に答えています ) Adverbial time words and phrases can become misplaced if these are incorrectly separated from the word/words being modified, sometimes completely changing the meaning of the sentence. ( 時を表す副詞と副詞句は置く場所を誤ると文の意味が全く変化してしまいます ) Ex. The hotel had just reopened in March when Jenna made a reservation. (This sentence specifies the month when the hotel reopened.) ( 例 : ジェナが予約したときそのホテルは 3 月に再開されたばかりだった ( この文はホテルが再開した月を示しています )) If we move the adverbial time phrase, the meaning of the sentence would change: ( 時を表す副詞の場所をかえると文の意味はこのようになります ) Ex.
