RADIO PREPARATION Set up the radio control system as indicated below START FINISH Install batteries. (Transmitter) Extend the antenna. (Transmitter) Connect the charged Ni-Cd battery to the receiver. Before using them, check the screws on the true-to-scale diagrams on the left side in each assembly step. Some screws are extras. 26 5 Painting Before painting, use a neutral detergent to remove any oil residues and dirt. Mask the windows from the inside. 3 Paint the body shell from the inside using KyoshoÕs spray colors. 30 OPERATING YOUR MODEL SAFELY In order to avoid accidents and personal injury, be sure to observe the following: Since exhausts and fuel vapors are noxious to health, use fuel only outdoors! Keep hands and objects away from rotating engine parts to avoid personal injury. Because after running the engine, the engine and the muffler are extremely hot, beware of getting burned! For accident prevention, do not run your model under Only use glow fuel for radio control models! Never use the following circumstsnces: gasoline or kerosene which might cause accidents such as fires! In place where many people gather. Near residential districts, schools and hospitals.
