4 Some examples of these adverbs and adjectives are: as much as, as big as, as great as, as little as. These are followed by countable and uncountable nouns. This comparison is also known as a correlative conjunction.( この副詞 形容詞の例として as much as, as big as, as great as, as little as などがあります これらの後には可算名詞 / 不可算名詞が続きます この比較を相関接続詞と言います ) Remember: ( 注意 ) Jane ate as much food as her brother during the party. ( ジェーンはパーティの最中 彼女の弟と同じくらいの量を食べた ) Simon has feet as big as Jim s. ( サイモンはジムと同じくらいの足の大きさだ ) We use as... as to show two things that are equal in some way.
